ABSTRACT
This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the key concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book aims to open the horizons in finance by showing what can be learnt when we explore one such holistic philosophy and living culture. It exposes what we lose when we forget the roots of finance, and the fact that at its base it is a service and servant industry, not a master or controller. The book focuses on theoretical and conceptual, we were only able to share a few case studies about Jain finance practices by way of example. This study demonstrates that in formulating such codes, diverse wisdoms and cultures can also provide unique insights in fact, one could argue that given the enduring Jain history of success in finance, its ethics may be uniquely valuable to financial institutions in guiding their conduct and behaviour.
