ABSTRACT
On June 11, 1962, when Casey Hayden, in that huge American car, drove us from Ann Arbor to Lake Huron, through those endless Michigan forests, we could relax. Most of the labor had already been done through months of intensive work and discussions. And this work, in turn, was the reflection of a new international unrest of the young generation called the New Left.
