ABSTRACT
This short overview presents activities and institutional developments related to environmental migration issues within the International Organization for Migration (IOM), reflecting heightened interest from member states; highlights IOM’s key messaging around potential opportunities associated with environmental migration; and reflects on how IOM’s institutional approach can inform the environmental migration governance at the global level.
