ABSTRACT
Chapter 12 delves into the lack of understanding that the average architect has regarding their own copyright and Intellectual property rights. What has the most value–the design process, the construction drawings, or the finished building? Can the architect use more than one of these as a revenue source? The chapter will discuss how the architect’s understanding of intellectual property must change in order to increase revenue.
