ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on the issue of how intergroup contact and intergroup threat may combine, temporally, to influence prejudice. We propose a conceptual frame - work for moving towards new research questions, and draw on illustrative evidence from our own and other research in order to set the scene for the develop ment of future theory and research.
