ABSTRACT
The Nature/Nurture controversy has always lain at the heart of the study of mankind. The social sciences and the life sciences have remained in collaborative and competing search for its solution. Both have made advances since Darwin and in the process have developed disciplines such as sociology and biology, fragmented into sub-disciplines occupying an ever enlarging space in the academic territory of the modern universities.
