ABSTRACT
This chapter begins with an examination of some of the critical issues relating to indigenous knowledge Systems. I have asked the questions, such as what is the nature of indigenous knowledge Systems? how can these systems improve the situation for indigenous peoples? how can this knowledge influence the development of curricula?
