ABSTRACT
When I was invited to participate in this Forum, I was asked to discuss a paper by Dr. Loren D. Potter then entitled “Shoreline Ecology of the Upper Colorado River Basin.” I was specifically requested to cover elements of the subject which were neglected in the paper. Since that time, the title of Dr. Potter’s paper has been changed to “The Ecology of Colorado River Reservoir Shorelines.”
