ABSTRACT

This study gives an important overview of the type of services that are currently available for companies in continental Europe. The HR-related services, that is, HR consultation and information, management training, performance management, and coaching are present in more than 60% of the companies. These services are mostly taken up internally except for management training where external partners are used in 47% of the cases. Satisfaction ratings are between 5.10 and 5.20 on a 1 to 7 scale situating these services in the middle range for satisfaction. The analysis also shows that these services are considered very useful (higher than 5.6 on the 1-7 need scale). Just like it is the case for most other services, our respondents would prefer slightly more than the present situation to have external help with these services. The one exception here is management training where the present and the desired situation already meet.
