ABSTRACT

Rusell published two reviews of MacColl’s book, Symbolic Logic and Its Applications, the first (25a) in The Athenaeum, no. 4092 (31 March 1906): 396–7 (B&R C06.03), and the second (25b) in Mind, n.s. 15 (April 1906): 255–60 (B&R C06.05). The previous year he had similarly published two reviews of Poincaré’s Science and Hypothesis , one in a popular journal like the Athenaeum and the other in Mind.
