ABSTRACT
On 24 November 1905 Russell submitted Paper 2 to the London Mathematical Society, and on 14 December read it to them. On 5 February 1906 he added a brief note at the end of the paper, which appeared in the Proceedings of the London Mathematical Society on 7 March.
