ABSTRACT
What has Africa, with 53 members in the United Nations contributed to the world community? How have Africans fared both in keeping the peace on the continent and using their resources and numbers in the United Nations to demand a voice on the world stage for the numerous hurdles they still face in addressing poverty, deadly conflict, disease and famine?
