ABSTRACT
My contribution to this seminar is due to the circumstance that we have just completed updating projections we made about ten years ago. In the process we have been much interested in comparing the projections that we made for 1970 with what actually happened in that year. Before presenting the results it is well to sketch extremely rapidly the general scheme that was followed in the work published in 1963 as our book, Resources in America’s Future.
