ABSTRACT
The LIQUEUR Company was established in 1847 and it was the first company in the territory of Bohemia to produce spirits, compressed yeast and liqueurs. It witnessed its greatest boom in the 1920s and it continued to prosper until 1945 when the LIQUEUR Company passed into state administration. The year 1992 turned out to be an important milestone for the LIQUEUR Company as it regained its legal persona and was transformed into a joint stock company. The LIQUEUR Company produced dozens of standard and first-class spirits. It then went bankrupt five years later as a result of a series of managerial decisions.
