ABSTRACT
This meant that the larger tours now had the ability to play larger facilities such as basketball and hockey arenas with certified rigging in charge. PLASA also began issuing Standards after extensive public review. In the summer of 2015 it posted a public review for rigging, entitled “BSR E1.47, Entertainment Technology-Recommended Guidelines for Entertainment Rigging System Inspections.” This offers guidance on inspecting entertainment rigging systems to lift and support equipment overhead in entertainment venues such as arenas, amphitheatres, studios, and theatres.
