ABSTRACT

Participants were interviewed for between half and one hour and were asked to describe their role and experience around service resources, the power and autonomy of older people, partnership working and the social inclusion of older people. Seven semistructured interview schedules were used to match the different types of knowledge and expertise in each participant group. Although the interviews tackled a number of issues, this paper focuses only on data concerning the quantity and quality of ageing-care workers from the perspective of all participant groups, discussed as shown in Table 2.
