ABSTRACT

Curiosity was the driving force for much of the author’s life. While trying to find out about why people did what they did, and the nature of God and how the world began, the author found her way to psychoanalysis via biology, psychology, and philosophy. Since nothing was taken at face value, she was able to question her teachers (even during the most rigid days of psychoanalytic training) in order to find teachers and methods that seemed to finally make sense so that she could arrive at her own way of working.
