ABSTRACT
We use the core component of the industry here, which is manufacturing. Meanwhile,
utilities are included in services in a number of national account series. The attempt to
confine the assessment to just manufacturing is also appropriate because its dynamics is
considerably different from mining, construction (largely a non-tradable) and utilities.
Hence, we present changes in the manufacturing share of GDP of the countries examined.
