ABSTRACT
Mr. and Mrs. C, their developmentally disabled daughter Allie (age 21) and son Paul (age 16) sought help because of Allie’s behavior, which included tantrums, self-abuse, and public masturbation. Although Allie’s behavior had always been of concern to the family, their distress increased as she entered adulthood and continued to pose major management problems.
