ABSTRACT
Speaking of “Danish tourism” is inaccurate in the sense that several types of inter/national
visitor flows combine to make up the aggregate headline of tourist movements within the
territory. In economic terms, two main types of activities remain important generators of
income, namely
. leisure holidays, mostly involving accommodation in rented second homes in coastal
areas . business tourism based on conference and meeting facilities, especially in Copenhagen.
