Our final contribution in this collection is by Jean Illsley Clarke. Appropriately, Jean’s chapter offers a retrospective on educational transactional analysis. For those involved in transactional analysis, Jean’s will be a familiar name; in many respects she is the elder in educational TA, being one of the first and now longest serving trainer and practitioner in the field. We asked Jean to share some of the significant periods in the history of the field, her most useful TA models and general reflections on being involved in educational TA for quite some time.
