ABSTRACT
Morton argues that biotechnological discoveries have given rise to ethical issues, particularly concerning the welfare of animals and the protection of the environment with regard to other animal species. He argues that protection of animals and the environment should have the highest concern and, further, that if humans have good motivation and intentions, then appropriate good actions will follow.
