ABSTRACT
Germany and France have a lot of points in common concerning the treatment of asylum seekers. The European Convention on Human Rights, ECHR, 1950, the Geneva Refugees Convention, GRC, 1951, and the Dublin Covenant III, 2013, apply to both countries. As in France, the right to asylum is a constitutional human right in Germany.1
