ABSTRACT

People often use the acronym LGBT to signify the identities lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender. Sometimes in addition to LGBT there might also be a Q for queer, a second Q for questioning, a second T for transsexual, an I for intersex, a P (or two) for pansexual or polyamorous, or an A for asexual. We have expanded this alphabet soup of identities beyond gay and lesbian, but even as we try to add letters to include more people based on their identities, we often leave some groups out.
