Most of the students in our program are educators but they have no background in instructional design; ID is a mystery to them and many come to us hoping for some kind of conversion experience. Students are looking for a new career path, or they want to find a new direction within the careers

they’ve already chosen, and instructional design offers tangible opportunities. Most are K-12 teachers, and they have fairly strong disciplinary identities in subject areas such as mathematics, science, or language arts.
