ABSTRACT

Australians are a little bit different, from the language they use to the way they live to the advertising they create. The “She’ll be right” attitude, which optimistically implies that all will work out well, has seen Australia evolve from a penal settlement in the late 1700s to a modern free-thinking nation, which embodies values such as “mateship” and egalitarianism. These values are inherent in the way Australians govern their society and in the way they do business.
