ABSTRACT

One of the joys of teaching is that there is little chance of the day unfolding in the same way as any other. Whenever you are thrown into a new teaching situation, you experience emotional highs and lows. There are lessons that you plan carefully and are rewarded for in abundance. Other lessons are executed with precision yet go horribly wrong. Some fill you with remorse for the lack of forward planning, and the self-evaluation process overflows with ideas for improvement. What is certain is that to continue to try new strategies and to put yourself in challenging situations is beneficial for both teachers and students.
