ABSTRACT
The research described here was carried out with MBA students enrolled in night classes at Georgia State University when both of the authors were on the management faculty there. It was published in the Academy of Management Journal (Miner and Crane 1981). The career-planning course was taught by Donald Crane and the research component was a joint effort with John Miner doing the MSCS (Miner Sentence Completion Scale) scoring.
