ABSTRACT

Organization Science published this article as well (Miner, Crane, and Vandenberg 1994). The distinguishing characteristics are a return to the professional theory, and thus a follow-on to Chapter 9, and the use of the Oliver Organization Description Questionnaire (OODQ) (see Chapter 12) to establish a domain in which congruence would be anticipated. This domain-documentation role was what stimulated the development of the OODQ originally.
