ABSTRACT

This research from the University of Oregon was published in the Personnel and Guidance Journal (Miner and Smith 1969) on the recommendation that its subject matter was particularly relevant to vocational counselors. It was preceded by a similar study also conducted with University of Oregon business students, but exclusively at the graduate level (Miner 1968a). Research of a related nature was conducted within the University of Oregon School of Education (Miner 1968b) as part of an extension of the Miner Sentence Completion Scale (MSCS) research program into the field of education (Miner 1967). Data from these efforts are included here.
