ABSTRACT
The City of Olympia is at the southern tip of Puget Sound directly between Seattle to the north and Portland to the south. Olympia residents enjoy a wonderful marine environment, mountains close by, parks, and access to nature. Olympia is also the state capital of Washington State and the hub of state government. Downtown Olympia has a progressive local flair, influenced by the presence of The Evergreen State College, which promotes democracy, inclusiveness, self-expression, and individuality.
