Management Education in Developing Countries: What Can Business Schools Contribute?

It is a truth universally accepted that development in developing countries starts with primary education. However, just as Jane Austen started Pride and Prejudice with these first six words in order to show later that simple truths often do not cover the whole picture, it is suggested that higher education in general, and business education in particular, do indeed have vital roles to play in bringing nations out of poverty.
