A. When the public is ready. Q. Isn’t the public ready now? A. No. There is no real call for full employment at the present time. Busi-
nessmen are content to live without it. Labor leaders don’t want to face the inconvenience of fighting for it. The unemployed have no voice in the matter at all. And economists are mainly preoccu pied with proving that full employment is dangerous.
