ABSTRACT

With more than 1.8 million nonprofit organizations representing a diverse group of employers in the United States, there are substantial opportunities for ethical and unethical decision making (White 2010). Nonprofits span the arts, education, faith-based organizations, health care, human services, recreation, and social services organizations that typically offer services not provided by the public or private sectors. Additionally, nonprofits increasingly are forming alliances or collaborating with other sectors in meeting the needs of the public.
