ABSTRACT

This chapter talks about an interview between Stephan M. Liozu and Joseph Siino. He answered to Stephan's question that he think pricing has been getting more attention over the last couple of years. Organizations are finally starting to realize the revenue and profit implications of pricing. Also he answered about his role in his organaisation, where pricing is extremely important. He personally report directly to the president of their North America organization. Joseph Siino replied about trainning that he prefers to train new hires on his proprietary systems and processes. Every six months he moves trainee into a different job with a progressive increase in responsibility and type of assignment. His training is extremely structured so that we can get people productive as soon as possible. Also Joseph replied to stephen's question about human capital that he works to ensure that his management team is sufficiently focused on people development and management.
