ABSTRACT

To conclude this book, we will try to offer some indications of how to proceed. We will try to answer an important question for those researchers in education who ask: ‘Why would you do research in the field of educational philosophy in the first place?’. We will turn not to the research methods textbooks that have been the focus of much of this book, but to some of the literature that specifically addresses aspects of educational philosophy in order to address the tricky question of how, and why, to start work in this field.
