ABSTRACT
Public-private partnerships (PPPs) have become increasingly predominant as an effective way of delivering policy interventions rather than government-led approaches. This chapter investigates the capability of partner organizations to benefit from the full potential of their collaboration and the effectiveness of their partnership arrangement to achieve their intended goals from the context of a developing African country, Nigeria. It provides the theoretical basis for the research; it begins by developing a theoretical framework that integrates the literature on collaborative advantage in partnership arrangements. The chapter discusses the methodological approach, the context of the empirical research and investigates the case study. The chapter concludes with a discussion of the contribution of the research, managerial implications, the research limitations, and suggestions for further research. It conceptualizes mutual interdependence in arrangements as involving the collaborative processes that contribute to and strengthens the partnership working.
