ABSTRACT

In four short vignettes, two from supervision sessions and the others from therapy sessions, I will try to show how the concept of transformation in hallucinosis (Th from hereon) (Civitarese, 2015, 2016) can be used, within the frame of a post-Bionian field theory, instead of the classical notion of parapraxis (which I use here also as an allegory of a certain way of conceptualizing the unconscious). Following Bion, but also developing his ideas, by Th I mean the more or less lasting analyst’s “errors” in thinking and perceiving, close to “hallucinations” and “delusion,” from which eventually he/she may wake up and so see them as a field phenomenon or dream.
