ABSTRACT

Faced with the complexity of reality the human mind tries to discriminate, separate and isolate aspects such as facts and phenomena that, when named, are brought into the symbolic network of thought. however, although discrimination facilitates thought, it also causes difficulties related to contact with complexity. Apparently “simple” phenomena are linked together in complex ways and the relationships among them indicate that knowledge of reality cannot be approached without taking into account the complicated dynamics of the connections among supposedly “simple” objects.
