ABSTRACT
Two boys, Jason and Nicky, attend a nursery class attached to a first school. Each is about four years old and has been attending school for a matter of weeks. After a phasing-in period of visits and short stays accompanied by a parent, they are both now attending five mornings a week. The nursery is lively and exciting with a good array of equipment. There are two teachers and two nursery nurses for the forty children in the nursery during the morning session.
