ABSTRACT
This chapter is concerned with two cases between Costa Rica and Nicaragua before the International Court of Justice (hereinafter ICJ or ‘the Court’). This is not the first time that these two countries have been before the Court. Indeed, Nicaragua and Costa Rica are two frequent visitors to the ICJ.1
