ABSTRACT
Before moving on to the analysis, it is of interest to understand how public opinion has evolved during the transition period after the fall of the Berlusconi cabinet, so as to ascertain how voters have evaluated the current economic and political situation, assessed key political actors, and attributed blame and praise during this cycle. The following analysis stems from an ITANES online five-wave panel study conducted between spring 2011 and winter 2013.
