ABSTRACT
Several themes can be synthesized in concluding this volume. Part I aimed to present a range of voices of agencies and individuals that are involved as guardians of remembrance. Part II offered several points of reference to Normandy’s war heritage, providing a contrast to what is currently happening with regard to the confluence of war remembrance, heritage and tourism. We offer some concluding thoughts here.
