ABSTRACT
Many observers of the police have noted the profound distrust line officers hold for administrators in their own organization. Never completely obsequious in the presence of managers, when street cops are in the locker room before or after a shift (and they do not think that back-stabbing management kiss asses are present) they let out their true feelings. And their most heartfelt feelings toward managers are seldom friendly or kind.
