ABSTRACT
Managed care and insurance companies hire marriage and family therapists to perform utilization review and assure quality. The concepts of context and systems are important to Fariha. 'In all human systems environments, including workplaces, her philosophy has been to work collaboratively with those involved and explore their strengths and resources to facilitate achievement of their goals while remaining respectful to the differences. She has also realized that the effective use of tools of language, such as metaphors, questions, is very powerful with regards to engaging and motivating my trainees. She have worked on linking the verbal with nonverbal to be able to make sense of their learning behaviors in relation to that of her own. While she was getting her doctoral degree, she made sure that she also worked on acquiring relevant professional credentials such as MFT licensure (LMFT) and certification as an addition professional (CAP).
