ABSTRACT

Collaboration with attorneys around family law matters is referred to as collaborative law. Individual medical practices and law firms also contract with marriage and family therapists for unique collaborations. Brian is Director of Training and Development for a large medical management company. Brian's dissertation for his doctorate in family therapy was on systemic organizational consulting, and this was his introduction to this field. Brian identifies that the most rewarding parts of my job come from helping people manage the complex relationships within their work lives. Brian must constantly demonstrate how his training and development functions affect the bottom line, this is the corporate, business aspect to his job. Randy has a multilevel group of practice areas, licensed as a LMFT and LMHC, and a doctoral degree in marriage and family therapists (MFT). Randy explains, My work as a collaborative divorce facilitator includes working with a team of professionals legal and financial to assist families moving through a divorce.
