ABSTRACT

Following the devastating 2010 earthquake that affected Haiti and in particular its urban areas, the recovery has been very challenging for stakeholders involved in the reconstruction. Despite large investments and good intentions of many actors, the fact that several years later many displacement camps remain open with large numbers of people still unable to return home serves as a reminder of the complexities of urban recovery.
