ABSTRACT
This introduction presents an overview of key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of this book. The book talks about the reading of Hegel's philosophical discourse alongside the rewriting of Jean Genet's literary text. In the same year, Derrida collaborated with the artist Valerio Adami in the production of silkscreens inspired by Glas. Jacques Derrida was born on July 15, 1924, in El Biar, in the suburbs of Algiers, from a Jewish French family.
