ABSTRACT
Carolyn Kenny is an Indigenous scholar with Choctaw and Ukrainian ancestry and adopted into the Haida Nation. She has extensive experience living and working in Canada and the United States and has presented her work internationally in two areas-Indigenous Studies and Music Therapy. She is Professor of Human Development and Indigenous Studies with a PhD from Antioch University in Leadership and Change. Over the last 30 years, she published many books, chapters, and articles on these topics.
She is the mother of Josh Kenny and Shannon Lee Kenny and grandmother of Isabella, Josephine, Austin, Hannah, and Madison .
