ABSTRACT
Saleem H. Ali is Professor of Politics and International Studies at the University of Queensland, Australia, where he directs the Centre for Social Responsibility in Mining. Dr. Ali is also a tenured professor at the University of Vermont’s Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources. He serves on the board of governors of LEAD-Pakistan, one of the country’s largest environmental organizations.
